Partendo da Budoia seguiamo la Via San Tomè che entra nella profonda valle percorsa dal Torrente Artugna fino al bivio dal quale, proseguendo per Via del Brociadour, raggiungiamo la stazione turistica di Piancavallo.
Ritorniamo al bivio dal quale, sulla destra, si prosegue in direzione del Cansiglio fino a raggiungere Malga Campo dopo aver attraversato un bellissimo bosco di faggi stupendamente colorato in questo inizio di autunno.
Proseguiamo quindi fino ad un bivio che, sulla sinistra, ci porterà, su strada ancora asfaltata, fino a Mezzomonte, villaggio d'altura e frazione del Comune di Polcenigo. Da qui, per un tratto di strada sterrata da percorrere con un po'
di attenzione, raggiungeremo la Via San Tomè, percorsa all'andata e quindi il punto di partenza.
Starting from Budoia we follow Via San Tomè, which enters the deep valley crossed by the Artugna Torrent as far as the fork from which, continuing along Via del Brociadour, we reach the tourist resort of Piancavallo.
We return to the crossroads from which, on the right, we continue in the direction of Cansiglio until we reach Malga Campo after passing through a beautiful beech wood wonderfully coloured in this early autumn.
We then continue as far as a fork in the road which, on the left, will take us, on a road that is still asphalted, as far as Mezzomonte, a highland village and hamlet of the Municipality of Polcenigo. From here, along a stretch of dirt road to be travelled with a little
of attention, we will reach Via San Tomè, travelled on the outward journey and therefore the starting point.
